Frequently Asked Questions!

How Long Does the Tour Last?

Depending on how many people are on the tour and how engaged participants are, the tour can last anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours. The tour itself is approximately 1/3 of a mile. We start and end the tour at our Gift Shop located at 10 Line Creek Rd, Haralson! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time!

Can I Take Pictures?

As a participant on a tour, yes, of course - as many as you'd like! We send you on the tour with a replica weapon from the show, this is to ensure that you look really cool in your pictures! If you're interested in taking your own pictures in your own time, please reach out to us at Red Hen Studios!

Where Do We Meet For The Tour?

We leave from and return to our gift shop. Located at 10 Line Creek Rd, Haralson. We share a parking lot with La Casa Del Taco. If you have issues finding us, please call 678-633-9486.

FYI; we are in a rural area, unless you have Verizon, cell signal is very weak. Uber or other ride share companies will drop you off but they will NOT pick you back up from our shop! Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements!

What's The Difference in Senoia & Haralson?

Haralson is a 1-sq mile town about 5 miles south of Senoia. We have had many scenes filmed here including Mere's death, Rick & Governor's meeting, Zombie killing sprees, and more. We are the only TWD tour that offers replica weaponry!

Senoia is the fictional town of "Woodbury" and "Alexandria". There is a lot to see in Senoia, but it is a completely different must-see location than us in Haralson!

What Should I Wear?

This is a walking tour. Depending on how the weather has been, there are small patches of wet grass that get muddy from time to time. Please dress appropriately - i.e. Bring a jacket just in case & NO HEELS (we do not give refunds due to clothing choices).

Will There Be Zombies?

From time to time, we will have actors dressed up as zombies around the property, however, this is NOT a norm. If you book a regular tour, there are no zombies. We will be very clear when sharing events that include actors!

What Does The Tour Cover?

In addition to the Esco Feed Mill (featured in the opening credits), you will also get to see where Merle died not once, but TWICE in the cotton gin. We also take you into the Governor's Meeting Barn where you get to see where Rick and the Governor had their sit down. We discuss behind the scenes and other fun facts about the show. If you're interested, we can also discuss other productions that were also filmed in Haralson!

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

You must cancel at least 24 HOURS in advance to qualify for a refund. If you need to reschedule, we offer up to TWO reschedules within 7 days of the tour date. Beyond that, tickets are forefitted and ineligible for refunds. Please call with any questions 678-633-9486!

About Historic Haralson

Located in both Coweta and Meriwether county, theĀ City of Haralson was established as the first city in Coweta in 1907. Prior to its official establishment, Haralson was a bustling town comprised of a doctor's office, a bank, a post office, a fully functioning cotton gin, and a train depot. Today, the city still takes pride in maintaining its "small-town" roots and feel while making necessary adjustments to accommodate film opportunities that have utilized our properties since before the early 1970s.
